The Aurora Lady Houn' basketball team will be hosting its annual Pink Zone game (now known as Play 4 Kay) on Thursday, Feb. 14, in order to raise money and awareness for breast cancer and other cancers.
The Play 4 Kay game will be in the high school gym vs. Lamar. The girl's JV team will start off the night (5:30 p.m.) followed by the Varsity girl's and then the Varsity boy's team. The freshman and JV boys will be at junior high gym that night.
Fans are being asked to come "decked out" in pink to support the DAWGS and CANCER. If you would like to purchase a t-shirt, Gary Crim has designed an amazing shirt for this years event. They are $10 each. Send size and money to me Kris Besch (Pate Elementary) by February 1. All money made off the shirts will go to the WBCA Cancer Foundation. A special donation will also be taken at the half of the varsity girls game.
If you would like to honor or remember someone in the basketball program that has survived or died from cancer, send your name, honor/remembrance/and their name. There will have an insert in the program that night.
