The Lady Houn's improved to 2-0 in the Big 8 Conference tonight with a 59-51 win over Seneca Monday night.
Aurora got out of the gate early, scoring the game's first seven points. They never looked back from there, building a convincing 27-12 halftime lead.
The scoring skyrocketed in the third period, with Seneca actually winning the quarter, 23-18.
But the clock was the Lady Indian's biggest enemy in the final stanza, as they couldn't get closer than five.
Rachel Parker broke out for the Lady Houn's, scoring a game-high 25 points. Jordan Hall added 12 and Shania Siegrist had 10.
Aurora (7-12, 2-0) return to conference action on Thursday, Nov. 24 at East Newton.
