The Aurora Houn' Dawgs used an unusual Thursday night game be good luck, as they rolled over Springfield Catholic 58-37.

After taking a narrow 12-11 lead after one quarter, Aurora's Corey Gregory took control to give Aurora the easy win. Gregory finished the night with 20 points.

The halftime lead favored the Dawgs, 27-22, and then the lead grew to 56-29 after three periods. Aurora won the fourth quarter 12-8 to take the win going away.

Gregory led all scorers with 20 points and Garrett Bader added 14.

The win improved Aurora's record to 5-6.

The Houn' Dawgs will play at Monett Friday night.
