The Houn' Dawgs were unable to put together four quality quarters and battled foul trouble all night, leading to a 58-40 loss at the hands of the Hollister Tigers in Hollister Friday.

Hollister held a commanding 31-16 advantage at the half, but Aurora was able to chip away at that lead, getting the deficit all the way down to 7 in the third stanza, 37-30. But that is as close as they could get, falling 58-40.

Aurora (6-8, 1-1) was led by Jordan Fronabarger and Andrew Parker, each scoring 10 points in the game.

The Houn's next contest will be in the Bolivar Liberator Tournament Thursday, Jan. 24.
