It took just 26 seconds for the Aurora offense to show its dominance Friday against East Newton, as quarterback Josh Fronabarger ran 94 yards for the score. He finished with 203 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns to pace Aurora to a convincing 34-13 win.

East Newton was a formidable opponent in the first half, even leading at the break 10-6. But the Houns exploded for 28 second half points, including a fumble recovery by Tyler Juracek that resulted in a 27 yard rumble to the end zone.

Also scoring for Aurora was junior running back Dylan Cullers.

Aurora finished with 386 total yards of offense, with 360 of that on the ground.

"We learned a lot about our kids tonight," said Aurora head coach Rick Scholten. "It was a difficult first half, but we had a number of guys step up and play like we knew they could in the second half."

The Houns will travel for the first time this season next Friday when they go to Seneca.
