Quarters, that is. On Senior Night in Aurora, the Houn' Dawgs managed to score more points in the fourth quarter than they did in the three previous, taking the win going away over visiting McDonald County, 53-35.

The Mustangs led 14-7 after one period and 22-15 at the half. Aurora won the third quarter 10-6 to pull within 3 after three. But it was the fourth quarter that saw the Houn' Dawgs put up 28 points, while allowing McDonald County just 7.

Senior Andrew Parker led the Houn' Dawg attack with 16 points. Garrett Bader added 9.

Parker, along with Chad Hughes and Jordan Fronabarger, were recognized before the game as seniors playing their last home game.

Aurora improves to 11-13 to end the regular season. They will begin district play Monday, Feb. 25 in Rogersville against Reeds Spring, a team they defeated earlier in the season. Gametime for the district contest in Rogersville is 6 p.m.
