After a 14-10 first quarter lead, the Lady Houn's found their offensive and defensive groove and easily dispelled of the Springfield Catholic Lady Irish Friday night at Drury University, 67-51.

Aurora outscored Catholic 20-12 in the second period, on the strength of the shooting of Shania Siegrist and Erica Tucker.

Catholic forged ahead briefly in the third quarter, but two consecutive treys from Rachel Parker forged Aurora back ahead to stay. Jordan Hall, who finished the game with a team=high 16 points, scored seven crucial points in the third.

The lead grew to 16 by the final buzzer, as Aurora displayed solid free-throw shooting in the final stanza, going 12 of 14. The final, 67-51, puts Aurora in the consolation final Saturday at 2 p.m. in Drury University's Weiser Gym.
