First Quarter
Aurora kicked away in the first half and immediately began to drive the Wolves back. Forced to punt after 3 offensive plays, Reeds Spring punted into the wind and Aurora began their first drive at the Reeds Spring 16. Four plays later, William Blankenship scored from 3 yards out to put the Houn's up 7-0. Reeds Spring would show some fight and tie the game at 7 on an Easton Flaugh 1 yard run at the end of the first quarter.
Second Quarter
Reeds Spring had the wind at their backs in the 2nd quarter and made good by punching in a score in the form of a Micah Tinsman 8 yard TD run.
Aurora matched that score when William Blankenship broke free for a 29 yard touchdown run of his own.
Third Quarter
In the third quarter, Aurora received the kickoff but would be running into the wind. Muffing the punt, the Houns' were tackled around their own 1 yard line and immediately faced a very tough challenge. The Houn's were able to move the ball forward, but punting into wind proved difficult and Reeds Spring shortly thereafter scored once again. This time the touchdown was scored by Josh Kent who caught a 27 yard touchdown pass from Easton Flaugh.
Fourth Quarter
In the fourth quarter, Aurora would see their fortunes turn for the better as they had been trading punts and field position with the Wolves until William Blankenship was able to punch in a touchdown run from one yard out. On the ensuing point after attempt, the Houns' mishandle the extra point, but Josh Fronabarger scrambled left and right until he found a wide open Nathan Mueller in the end zone for a 2 point conversion. That made the score 22-20 in favor of Aurora.
The game would be put away for good at the 5:27 mark when Tristan Dunning intercepted the Wolves and returned the ball for 50 yards and the score. Aurora closed out the Wolves 29-20.
Aurora ran for 127 yards on 32 carries Reeds Spring ran for 150 yards on 47 carries
